ABOUT TUSCALOOSA'S DEAF COMMUNITY
Over 37.5 million American adults, age 18 and over, have reported some trouble hearing, and in Alabama there is no exception. The deaf community in the Tuscaloosa area has organizations like Deaf Hands Speak, Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, and Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services.
